Sussex County FCU offers a variety of savings programs to meet your needs including Share Savings, Savings Club, Kids Club, Holiday Club, IRA Accounts (Roth and Traditional), Education Savings Accounts (ESA), and Regular and IRA Share Certificates.
Share Savings Account
This is our standard savings account. Earn a competitive rate of return with total access to your account anytime, anywhere. Funds in your Share Savings Account are available for withdrawal or transfer at a Branch, via Audio Response or Online Banking, or through an ATM. Share Savings can also be pledged against
loans and transferred to cover overdrafts in your checking account.
Savings Club Account
The Savings Club Account is our version of a Money Market Account. Earn great rates without committing your funds to a Certificate Account with a set term. This is a tiered rate account, which means the more money you deposit, the higher your earnings. Designed as a true savings account, you can make one free withdrawal from this account per calendar month.
Kids Club Account
Kids earn extra at Sussex County FCU. Teach your child how to save while making it fun for them. Obtain a Kids Club Kit and a piggy bank when you open the account. Remember, you can earn higher dividends and learn how to maximize your return with our Savings Club and Education Savings accounts.
Personal Pension Account (PPA)
A Personal Pension Account allows members 60 and over to turn a lump sum of money‚ such as funds from a 401(k)‚ IRA or Certificate‚ into a monthly annuity of principal and interest‚ which is then deposited directly to your SCFCU Checking account on any day of the month you choose. You can access your money at any branch‚ online on the phone or at the ATM. It’s like retiring with pay‚ every month!
Holiday Club Account
Use direct deposit and payroll distribution to fund your Holiday Club regularly. Chances are you won’t miss the funds and those deposits really add up. Funds are automatically transferred to your Share Draft (or Savings) Account in early November just in time for the holidays.
We offer the following: traditional or Roth, overnight or certificates. In order to maximize your retirement benefits, we pay high earnings on IRA overnight funds, and even higher on certificates.

Health Savings Account (HSA)
A Health Savings Account‚ serves as a tax-advantaged medical savings account available to taxpayers who are enrolled in a high-deductible health plan. The funds contributed to an account are not subject to federal income tax at the time of deposit and unlike a flexible spending account (FSA)‚ funds roll over and accumulate year to year if not spent. A Health Savings Account is owned by the individual‚ allowing you to pay for qualified medical expenses at any time.

Education Savings Account
A Coverdell Education Savings Account (ESA) is a trust or custodial account created for the purpose of paying the qualified higher education expenses of the designated beneficiary of the account. One of the many advantages is the possibility of tax-free growth. To maximize your savings for the child in your life, we match our Education Savings Account rates to our IRA rates. Both overnight and certificate options are available.
